Clint Snider was raised in the small town of Madrid, nestled amongst the vast cornfields of Iowa. His family and friends have always been important to him throughout his life. In his late teens, Clint was introduced to methamphetamine after a tragic death of a loved one, which led to many years of addiction, jails, prisons, and drug treatment centers. While in prison, he met his friend and co-author, Jay Gonzalez, who inspired him not only through writing but also with his love of art, which incidentally led to the artwork for this book cover. At the time My Method to My Madness was released, Clint has been clean and sober for over a year, giving him the mental strength and clarity to finish the manuscript along with Jay's help, and to pursue his love of drawing, and, most importantly, to repair relationships with loved ones. They both knew Clint had to be in the right place and that this story had to be shared for the right reasons. That time is now.
